Design a Modular and Connective AI Workspace for Noya

Led product and brand design at Noya, defining the north star vision and designing early products that validated product–market fit. My work established the product foundation, brand narrative, and a scalable visual system for long-term growth.

New value proposition

We pivoted Noya’s value proposition to be a modular AI workspace where users can build, evolve, and maintain products over time. The new design highlights Noya’s composability and connected tools.

Defining the visual language

We wanted Noya to feel vibrant, expressive, and modular, so I developed an illustration style that reflects the system’s flexibility.

Bringing the ecosystem to life with motion

Showing how Noya’s tools connect as one system through animation, making modularity feel concrete rather than abstract.

Introducing tools, efficiently

Modular layout that introduces each tool through concise taglines and contextual examples, helping users understand their role without breaking the page flow.

Maintain visual consistency across pages

To maintain visual cohesion, we used Noya’s own Vector Art tool to generate blog graphics, reinforcing the idea that the product can power its own marketing.

Design a more unified product homepage

Restructured the homepage to be more like an all-in-one AI workspace that supports building, evolving, and maintaining products over time.

Reframing tools as file types

To support scale and clarity, I introduced a model where each tool is represented as a file type, surfaced through both a persistent side navigation and the “Add New File” menu.

Bringing tools and templates together

By combining tools and templates on the same page, we help users see how starting points (templates) and building blocks (tools) can be used together.

Building whiteboard with integration in mind

Whiteboard provides essential features and serves as the first surface for integrating multiple Noya tools in one workspace.

A modular, familiar editing experience

I designed the whiteboard editor to be familiar, modular, and lightweight. It is easy to express ideas quickly while remaining flexible enough to evolve.

Embedding tools directly inside files

We introduced an "Add New File" system that lets users embed other tools or templates directly within their file.

A lightweight approach to web editor

For the Website Builder, we prioritized speed and ease of publishing. The editing experience is intentionally simple and modular, allowing users to assemble content quickly without friction.
