new filters and data visualization

Analyze the market and visualize trends better

As user demand for more detailed market analysis grew, the existing filter system and charts could no longer support nuanced exploration of trends. I redesigned MarketPulse’s filtering experience to provide more granular, flexible controls while ensuring scalability.

Interactive charts for clearer market insights

Enhanced the data visualization by redesigning the charts with hover-based tooltips and an improved color system, making trends easier to interpret and compare at a glance.

Building an energy marketplace for hourly trading

GC Marketplace addressed the lack of infrastructure for hourly renewable energy trading. I designed a platform and components that improve transparency through action-oriented service design and timeline-driven status tracking,

Ensure the workflow is consistent to guide buyers, sellers, and admins through each step, including handling of edge cases. The MVP established a scalable foundation for hourly energy trading and set a new industry standard.

Bridging design and engineering through Storybook

LevelTen's design system existed only in Figma and lacked clear documentation, making it difficult for engineers to implement consistently and for designers to scale. I created a true single source of truth by building a coded component library in Storybook.

Scaling through accessibility and systemized design

I also upgraded accessibility to WCAG standards, and documented responsive behaviors, edge cases, and interactions.

Streamlining the asset auction workflow

The existing asset auction process was manual, opaque, and heavily dependent on LevelTen admins to coordinate communication and data entry. I redesigned it to digitize and automate workflows, centralizing data in tables to improve transparency.

Enabling participant collaboration

I also enable direct communication between participants which reduce admin workload and friction across the auction lifecycle.
